Intelligent Technology Solutions, LLC. (ITS), Marietta, GA announced that the United States Air Force recently awarded a contract to ITS for implementation and upgrade of IBM Maximo Asset Management.
In a release, the company noted that the contract, awarded through the Air Force Material Command (AFMC), is valued at just over $189,000.
Through this new contract, ITS will provide the software and services to implement Maximo 7 for the 95th Civil engineering Directorate, replacing the existing Maximo 4 system and greatly enhancing the ability for the USAF to track and manage equipment, parts, and supplies at Edwards, AFB.
As an IBM accredited partner and reseller, a founding partner of EAMTeam partner network with over 15 years’ experience with the Maximo product line, ITS stated that it provides similar Maximo services to Colonial Pipeline Company, as well as other clients. “ITS has always provided exceptional services through practical solutions helping our clients derive real benefit and value from their investment by improving efficiency and operational cost savings,” said Richard Poorman, Chief Executive Officer for ITS.
Poorman also stated, “Our recent analysis has indicated that over 90% of businesses are not utilizing the full capabilities of the Maximo product line. This is mostly due to either the lack of in-house resources to implement the technologies or an unawareness of the products capabilities. Another challenge has been license compliance and helping clients manage their solution lifecycle with upgrade planning. ITS is helping solve all of these issues”
